Loved it, but not what I was looking for

I ordered this mobile because the title said "soothing". It also looked beautiful on the website. It arrived and there are lots of things going on. Ladybugs slide down with a turtle. It has a bright but sort of soothing light. The shapes make plasticky clicky sounds when the mobile turns on its tilted axis. It does not rotate flat like most mobiles do. It is very cute, but did not soothe my baby. My ten week old looked at it and didnt smile at it. The following day I ordered the Fisher Price Rainforest one. I couldnt decide between Fisher Price and the Sweet Island Dreams. Well, my little one fell asleep with the Fisher Price one and during the day, smiled at the characters. I think I actually like the Serenade one more, but my little guy likes the Fisher Price one more. :)
I ordered this mobile because the title said Soothing Serenade. When I went to Tiny Love's website the name is actually Natures Serenade which is actually very noisy!! lol. If you want baby to stay up and perhaps entertain him for a while,...get this one.

| My daughter absolutely adores this mobile-it got her very first laugh! It's very pretty to look at, but really the best part is the audio quality, unlike other toys that have a tinny off key sound, this mobile sounds fantastic. I highly recommend this mobile! |

| My 11 week old daughter loves this mobile. The music is lovely and she finds the movement and colors very stimulating. She smiles and "talks" to the mobile. We have another Tiny Love mobile that is called the Symphony in Motion (with farm animals). She also loves that mobile (one is for home, one for daycare). The Nature Soothing mobile is an improvement over the Symphony in that it has a volume control for the music and it has lights, which add another dimension of interest. The mounting bracket can be a bad fit for some cribs, but it works fine on our "Emily" crib, which has a flat edge for the mounting lip to rest on. This was an excellent purchase in my opinion. |

My kid loves it. It makes diaper changing a pleasant experience (for him and me). The nature sounds are hypnotic. They have 'layered' the sounds and movement in a very clever way to induce trance. If I was underneath it I would probably just stare at it myself. It calms me down to listen to it!
Mounted fine for me. Always a good idea not to tighten anything down too much but maybe there was a problem with theirs. |

| Worth every penny. Plus, I don't agree with the reviewer that mentioned the product left marks on his wood crib as our crib (Brazilian hardwood) is handling the mobile just fine. |
